There will be a big change in the system of exit examination before registration for Diploma Pharmacy pass students. In this regard, the Pharmacy Council of India sent a proposal to all the states and union territories. In which there is a proposal to change the exit examination. At present, the exit exam proposed in November has now been postponed for a few more days/months. Now EXIT exam likely after January 2022
It has become necessary for Diploma in Pharmacy passed students to give an exit examination before registration. The exam was supposed to start from November. There were total three papers in it. The Pharmacy Council has proposed to amend it in view of the financial and administrative difficulties on the students. Director & Founder of The Pharmapedia Swaroop Singh Jakhar said that the 371st Executive Committee meeting of the Council was held on August 8. In this it was decided to change the regulation.
Only One MCQ type Exam Paper For EXIT Exam
Swaroop Singh Jakhar told that now there will be only one paper instead of three in the exit examination. There will be multiple choice questions. Questions will be made from the subjects of Pharmaceuticals, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Bio Chemistry, Hospital & Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence, Drug Store Management which will be in English. The exam will be of three and a half hours. Students have to secure 50% marks.
New Direction will be decided in three months for EXIT Exam
There will be no maximum limit for the students to appear in the exit examination. There are big administrative challenge for PCI to conduct the examination of about two lakh candidates for three consecutive days. A proposal for amendment has been sent to save the students from financial burden. Ideas have been invited on the proposal in three months. After this the direction of exit exam will be decided.
