BFUHS Pharmacy Officer Selection Criteria & Exam Pattern

The selection process for the Pharmacist position heavily prioritizes domain knowledge along with relevant medical field experience. The final merit list will be prepared out of a total of 100 marks, structured as follows:

1. Written Examination (90 Marks)

  • The competitive written test will be conducted by BFUHS, Faridkot.
  • Candidates must score a minimum of 33% marks in the written test to be considered eligible for the selection pool.

2. Experience Weightage (10 Marks)

As an exceptional measure for the year 2026, additional marks are allocated to medical and para-medical personnel who served on a contract, outsource, or voluntary basis under the Punjab Government (especially during the COVID-19 pandemic between March 2020 and June 2021):
