🎓 4. Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
A. Age Limit (As on July 1, 2025)

40 Years (Age relaxation is permissible as per rules)
B. Essential Educational & Experience Qualifications
- Degree Requirement: A degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology, Microbiology, or equivalent from a recognized University. (Equivalent qualifications include B.Pharm, Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bachelor in Medicine with Clinical Pharmacology/Microbiology, or Pharm.D).
- Mandatory Experience Requirement (Any one of the following):• 18 months experience in the manufacture of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule ‘C’ to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945; OR
• 18 months experience in testing of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule ‘C’ to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 in an approved laboratory; OR
• 3 years experience in the inspection of firms manufacturing Schedule ‘C’ substances during service as a Drug Inspector of any State or Central Government.
C. Preferential Qualifications
Candidates who have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 2 years or possess a ‘B’ certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) will be given preference, other things being equal.
